The Participant assumes the role of a recently recruited Financial Advisor in a large insurance company. Having completed their technical training and obtained their Financial Planning Certificates, they are now in a position to start actively selling without such a high level of supervision as they have had up until now. They have therefore been asked by their Sales Manager to compile a business plan based upon the sales target they have been given, which shows the nature and volume of the activities they will have to undertake to achieve their target. The Participant is provided with data about target markets, sales procedures and conversion ratios and is expected to analyse this data in order to come up with a workable project plan, which needs to be submitted to their Sales Manager for approval.
